Tonight’s Weather
This afternoon, scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are moving across Northeast Wisconsin. These conditions will start to clear by early evening, giving way to mostly clear to partly cloudy skies overnight. Expect lows to dip into the middle 40s to middle 50s.
Friday’s Forecast
Friday looks to be a mainly pleasant day with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower to middle 70s. It’s a great time to enjoy the outdoors, as no significant weather is expected.
Looking Ahead to the Weekend
This weekend will see temperatures gradually rise, returning to near-normal levels by Sunday. While Saturday should remain tranquil, there’s some uncertainty about rain returning on Sunday. Current forecasts indicate a low chance of showers or thunderstorms (15-30%) during the day, increasing to 30-50% by Sunday night as a warm front approaches.
As we move into next week, a 500mb ridge is expected to build across the eastern United States, bringing heat and humidity back into our region. Monday could see high temperatures near 90 degrees, with heat index values climbing as high as 105 degrees due to elevated dewpoints.
Thunderstorms are possible throughout the week, particularly on Tuesday and Wednesday. This active pattern is subject to change as models vary in their forecasts, and the potential for severe storms exists.
