As we move into the afternoon, there’s a significant chance of showers and thunderstorms developing, particularly as a cold front makes its way southward. The National Weather Service indicates a 50% to 70% chance of these storms. While some storms may become strong or even marginally severe, the primary threats will be gusty winds and hail.
