As we move from Tuesday night into Thursday, the region will be under the influence of a high-pressure system, resulting in mostly clear skies and pleasant conditions.
Swim Risks at Lake Michigan
A Beach Hazard Statement is in effect due to high waves and currents along all Lake Michigan beaches. Swimmers should exercise caution, especially through Wednesday morning where swim risk conditions remain elevated.
Temperatures and Fog
Daytime highs will range from the lower to upper 80s, while overnight lows dip into the upper 50s to mid-60s. Given the clear skies and light winds tonight, there is a chance for patchy fog in low-lying areas west of Madison. Any fog that develops should lift quickly with morning sunlight on Wednesday.
